Personality is the particular combination of emotional, attitudinal, and behavioral response patterns of an individual. Quality of Working Life is a term that had been used to describe the broader job-related experience an individual has. The present research was aimed to make a comparative study of personality type and quality of work life among private and government sector engineers. The sample comprised 140 engineers, 70 each from private and government sectors. In each group there were 35 male and 35 female engineers. The respondents were randomly selected from different private and government sectors of Jaipur city. The age of the respondents ranged from 25 to 45 years. Personality type was assessed by Type A/B Behavioral Pattern scale (Upinder Dhar and Manisha Jain) quality of work life was assessed using Quality of Work Life Scale by SantoshDhar; Upinder Dhar &Rishu Roy (2005). For analyzing the data t-test was used. Results revealed that engineers from private sectors have better personality and quality of work life than the engineers from government sector.
