Abstract

The transportation model is a special class of linear programming models, widely used in the area of inventory control, employment scheduling, aggregate planning, and personal assignment etc. This paper presents an interactive algorithm which takes advantage of the multiobjective multi-index transportation problem. An example is included to illustrate the developed algorithm and to determine their viability.
