Women are more likely than men to experience ongoing stress, partly because of family and social responsibilities, while men report more financial pressure. A corporate woman can be stressed with her work. A busy mother is stressed sometimes with her kids and all the work that she has to do at home. When you feel stressed, you should find ways to reduce the tension and find time to relax for yourself. Stress management for women, involves following a well-balanced regime. It should include good food, good sleep and a good amount of time for relaxation.
To find out the social and environmental factors of stress among working and non working women.
This study is descriptive research. The data collected from the primary sources. Non probability convenience sampling techniques was used to select samples. This study consist samples of 105 working and 105 non-working women. Tools used in this study to analyze the data are Mann –Whitney U test.
It can be concluded that there is significant difference between the Working women and Non-working women in their Social stress factors and there is significant difference between the Working women and non-working women in their Environment stress factors.
