Abstract

This paper attempts to explore a comparative and analytical study of the emotional intelligence of Jawahar Navodava Vidalaya students in Manipur with regard to selfconfident, trustworthy, innovative, conscientious and adjusted. From the correlation statistics it is found learner's self-confident emotional intelligence is highly related to trustworthy, innovative, conscientious and adjusted. That is why the overall emotional intelligence among the students of JNV is significant. Difference between the emotional intelligence of students from different inhabitations (non-tribal habited at valley and tribal habited at hilly) students of JNV are found no significant correlation among them. There existed no significant positive difference between emotional intelligence of male and female JNV students.
