The aim of the study was to find out the differences if any existed among swimmers, sprinters and rowers on speed parameters. Ninety students, 30 swimmers, 30 sprinters and 30 rowers from AMET University, Kanathur were selected as subjects and tested of their speed parameters, speed and agility using standard tests. The analysis of variance proved that, the obtained F ratio value 31.58 on the scores of speed was greater than the required F table (P<0.05). The sprinters were found to be best followed by swimmers and then by rowers. As for agility the obtained F value 5.82 was greater than the required F table value of 3.10, which proved that there was significant at 0.05 level. The sprinters were found to be best followed by swimmers and then by rowers. The findings were in agreement with previous studies and it was concluded similar researches on strength parameters would highlight the differences among swimmers, sprinters and rowers for the benefit of these athletes.
