Adult, sex and religious education: Mahatma Gandhis’ perspective

Gandhi ji has gone ahead of the times in having given mature thinking and deliberation to this important aspect in educational system. Gandhi ji was also very much interested to establish a spiritual society based on the principles of love, non-violence, truth, justice and equitable distribution of wealth. This article states his viewpoints on Sex Education, Adult Education and Value education and suggest that community work, community prayer, celebration of common festival and culture functions and programme of sharmdaan (contributing physical labour) must be a regular part of school life.
