The paper industry plays an important role in people life. This study aimed at getting a clearer view of the level of satisfaction of the contract employees working in the TNPL Paper industry. The main areas of focus are the relative importance and the different job satisfaction factors and how they contribute to the overall satisfaction of the employees. The sample size was 130. From this study the author found that majority of employees belong to the age group of 26–30 years and there is a significance relationship between experience and promotion, and there is a significance relationship between age and working condition. From this research it is suggested the company to provide transport facilities to the employees in order to come to work on time and to provide training to the employees at frequent intervals.
