This paper titled “Teaching of English through technology: Some perspectives” intends at exploring the potentials to identify factors relevant to the language teaching through video games and android applications. The pedogical approach towards language learning is of paramount importance. Innovations are employed to attain the desired objectives. Teaching English as a second language is a challenging task, and the wrinkles in the process can be ironed out by means of adopting suitable methodologies. Teaching of English through video games and android applications stimulates in learners a great interest and makes them enhance their language learning skills in an enjoyable manner. This paper highlights the various challenges in the process of language teaching and floats practical suggestions to iron out the wrinkles.
