Abstract

This paper deals with a simple mathematical model of data security in cloud computing. Cloud computing is a model for enabling convenient, ubiquitous on-demand network access to a shared poop of configurable computing resources (i.e. networks, servers, storage, applications and web services) that can be rapidly provisioned and released with minimal management effort or service provider interaction. It's more like a evolutionary tectonic shift rather than a revolutionary one in terms of data management. Security is the key in Cloud computing as there is always a possibility of erosion of control as information and software move off organic resources and into someone else's IT management sphere. In the thesis, a generic mathematical model has been introduced to provide sophistication of data security in Cloud network.
