Study of Personality Hardiness in Relation to Gender, Locality, Organisational Set-Up and Marital Status

The present study reveals that personality hardiness of secondary school teachers in relation to demographic variables of schools of Ludhiana District. For this study 150 secondary school teachers were taken. Hardiness scale (Nowack, 1990) was used to collect the data. A significant difference was found between mean scores of personality hardiness of secondary teachers in regard to their gender, locality, and organizational set-up. But there was no significant difference found between mean scores of personality hardiness of secondary school teachers of Ludhiana District with regard to marital status.
