Manpower is one of the most uncontrollable and also prominent factor determining profitability and productivity for any organization. Than recruiting talented workforce in any organization, channelizing and motivating employees to apply their knowledge, skill and ability effectively at workplace is proving to be a major challenge. Organizations from long period of time have been working on the concept of employee engagement trying to understand the factors which may help companies to motivate and retain their employees. The strategic HR continues to be the major focus of an organization however they have shifted their focus from business partner to business integration where importance is being given to the talent management and engagement Study basically focuses on understanding which are the various factors that may lead to enhanced employee engagement with specific reference to recognition at workplace, training and development in the company, opportunity for career development, job promotion etc. The data was analyzed using the statistical software SPSS16, excel and MS word, the statistical tool used is correlation and fishers exact test. Study basically intended to understand relationship between employee job satisfaction and employee engagement, how opportunity to learn and grow determines employee‘s decision about their continuity with the organization.. The results shows that there is significant association between job satisfaction and employee engagement at work place and also better career opportunity plays key role in employee decision to continue with an organization. At significance level of 0.005
