The growth of credit card culture in India has been predominant in the last few years. So the present study tries to analyze the customer's perception towards credit cards. The data was collected using convenience sampling. The study finds that the present generation is using credit cards for their daily needs-instead of using cash-due to the reason it is easy to handle, zero interest rate for a certain period and the global acceptance of credit card everywhere. The present study is to analyze the satisfaction level of credit card holders in Vellore city and the problems faced by them. The study found that customers are highly satisfied with the credit cards usage in the semi urban city. The findings would be useful for the marketing strategists in financial service sector to arrive at appropriate decision so as to enhance the rate of adoption of credit cards.
