The purpose of the study is to access the role of social support on anxiety and depression among breast cancer patients. A sample of 235 breast cancer patients was taken from Calicut Medical College. Berlin's social support scale and Hospital anxiety and depression scale was used for the present study. The results revealed that there is not significant difference in anxiety in breast cancer patients on level of social support. There was significant difference in depression in breast cancer patients, on the level of social support.
