Social exclusion of females a case study of kurukshetra and Ambala districts

This paper has been written to study the social exclusion of females. This paper analyses the extent of social exclusion of females in education and in freedom of choice. Social exclusion means the failure of society to provide certain individuals and groups with those rights and benefits normally available to its members such as employment, health care, education and training etc. The term ‘social exclusion’ is very much use in the field of intellectuals and policy planners worldwide for identifying the goals for the development of the neglected people. In this paper the social exclusion of females in education as well as in freedom of choice will be analyzed. For this purpose, primary data has been used. Primary data has been collected through the well-structured questionnaire. In all, sample sizes of 200 females have been taken from Kurukshetra and Ambala districts. It has been analysed and interpreted by using statistical technique such as chi-square.
