Abstract

Digital India is a programme promoted by the Government of India to assure the Government services are made available to Indian residents electronically by improving the online system and by expanding internet network or by making the nation digitally empowered in the area of innovation. Digital India is the start of a computerised revolution in the Indianeconomic system. Digital India is a dream project of the Government to redesign India into a knowledgeable economy system and empower the society with good governance for the people by bringing co-ordination in public answerableness. The government programs and services are connected to mobilise the capability of information technology across government offices. In those days, every country wants to be digitalised and this campaign tries to provide equal benefit to the user and service provider. Digital India not only helpsgovernment to government in transparency but also helps Indian people to upgrade their knowledge. Hence, an attempt has been made in this paper to understand Digital India which is a new change in Indian economic system where technologies and connectivity will come together to affectall aspects of governance and improve the life quality of peoples.
