Financial fraud and scams have not been uncommon in India. Over the past few decades, multiple headline-grabbing cases of frauds have been seen in India. It has adverse and negative impacts like lack of transparency, morality, accountability and consistency that push country growth and development down. In this paper, an attempt is made to study the present scenario of the financial fraud and related activities in India by using secondary data.
