Facebook is a very popular social networking site in India as well as all over world. It is a very common platform for sharing, storing and collecting various information. My study is based on search results of the term ‘library and information science’ on facebook and study current groups entitled with the term ‘library and information science’. It is also focused on their type, creation date, group member etc.
