Abstract

The purpose of this study is to examine the effectiveness of change management and its six dimensions (process, technology, culture, structure, strategy and employees attitude) on organizational performance in IT companies. The data was collected from 462 employees in 10 major IT companies in Chennai. The target population of the research included top, middle and operational level employees of ten major IT companies in Chennai. The questionnaire was used in order to collect the primary data. The convenience sampling technique was used. A structured questionnaire comprising of seven parts was distributed to 500 employees. A total of 462 questionnaires were collected with final responses. The results showed that Change process, technology, culture, structure, strategy and employees attitude are key variables in successful organization change implementation. The study concluded that there is a significant relationship between six dimensions of change management and organizational performance.
