A global customer perspective on atm services in pollachi taluk

ATM is gaining importance in the economic development of the country. The study was proposed to explore ATM services in Pollachi Taluk and its drive on social life. The purpose of this study is to know the customers perspective towards ATM services. The study has been done in Pollachi Taluk of Coimbatore District comprising a sample of 60 Customers. Primary data was collected by means of face to face interview schedule. The data collected was analyzed using simple percentage for demographic profile of customers and scoring scheme to find the perspective of customers. From the analysis of data the researcher found that majority of the Customers are male, maximum of the Customers are from the age group of 31to 40, and have completed their PG with Government service having income above Rs.20, 000 and most of the Customers Strongly agrees with convenient location and service available. Most of the customers agree with promptness of payment, number of transaction, availability of cash, balance enquiry, fees charged for using other bank card, security and quality of currency notes.
