Abstract

The purpose behind buying health insurance is that an individual or a family member needs medical treatment; at least the need for immediate finances is met. Cashless settlement policies are aimed to go a pace further. Cashless policies mean that the health insurance companies settles the bill directly with healthcare provider, it may be a hospital or a nursing home. The study on cashless treatment analyses the process involved in the Mediclaim policy. The study focuses on the cost relationship with reference to availability and affordability and also to check on the empathy or concern on the quality treatment.
