This paper attempts to disseminate, how the policies and development projects for the tribals are being violated. Further it narrates the heated debates, which revolves around these violations. This paper came into existence after long consultations and discussions with the leading tribal activists, government officials and adivasis in Kerala and also as a result of an extensive field work in Avanipara Tribal Settlement, Pathanamthitta district. We have adopted multiple methodologies for collecting and analysing the data collected. Through this paper the authors argues that inequality is an endemic feature in Kerala Development Model.
