Abstract

Nowadays sustainable development is needful to sustain of human beings on the earth. The production and consumption of eco-friendly products is a big step towards the nature friendly development process of the entire world. This study tries to examine the consumer's awareness and satisfaction level about eco-friendly products with a sample survey. This study also ties to analyze the relation of expenditure on eco-friendly products with its influencing factors. The data were analyzed with chi square and multiple regression models. Most of the consumers under study are mindful on the eco-friendly products by influencing their friends and advertisement. Wooden materials are the greatly demanded eco-friendly products in the study area. The durability is the major reason to choose these products. The rate of satisfaction of consumers is rated in five scales. Out of the three influencing factors of expenditure on eco-friendly products, monthly income have more positive influence than education and income of consumers.
