A Comparative Study on The Status of Modernization of Todas Before Ten Years Form The Year 2017 and As in The Year 2017

Initially the scheduled tribes economically and socially very poor. Most of the tribes live in hilly areas or close to forests. Tribal class of life depends upon basic infrastructure facilities. Tribes are support of Government and organization. Modern life style is the important role of tribes. Objectives: To find out the comparative of Modernization among the Todas in Nilagiri District across the demographic variables. The Modernization is strengthening traditional links and bonds. Methodology: The data were collected 149 samples out of 1500 respondents in Nilgiri district. The samples were collected through the issue of questionnaires. The research questionnaire included questions meant to collect demographic and additional background information. Talk about in the data analysis relating to the comparative of modernization among the Toda tribes. Conclusion: The research effect shows that the tribes ‘Todas’ are having no big variation in their standard of living relating to the usage of different home appliances.
