Abstract

Personal Finance Management plays a pivotal role in an average salaried employee‘s life. In the Indian context Personal Finance Management is not just restricted to an individual‘s finance management, rather it focuses on the family financial objectives. In this paper the researcher attempts to integrate the aspects of personal finance management from an Indian perspective. The data for the sample has been collected from 83 government employees who are above the age of 60 years and have retired from their service tenure. The results of the analysis reveal that personal finance management do play an important role in accomplishing the family financial objectives.
