During digital era people can instantly exchange text, voice, images video and data of all kinds from anywhere in the world. People can create content and interact digitally, shop internationally and work globally. Nowadays everything and everyday life is connected and shared digitally. In the context of digital records privacy propositions are based on both data accessibility and protection from data interceptions. Personal spaces and safeties that were previously granted simply by physical separation are no longer protected. The digital network enters the most proximate spaces and challenges the normally accepted notions of the private. The business firms and organizations that dealt with the digital records are having different levels of customer confidence regarding the digital privacy of their records. The researcher has collected and ranked the digital privacy confidence level of various service providers among public. The study identifies that the confidence levels are based on two digital privacy propositions i.e. firm's capacity to offer data protection from interceptions and the nature of digital records.
