This paper examines the export performance of Indian handloom with respect to rest of the world. The study focuses on export performance of Indian handloom during the period of 2009 – 2019. The statistical techniques such as percentage analysis, trend analysis, growth analysis and CAGR analysis are used. Therefore, it is concluded that government of India through handloom export promotion council aims at promoting handloom industry in terms of reducing the various problems faced by the handloom industry in India and opening the gateway for future prospect of handloom industry.
