Cyberbullying among adolescents: A growing concern and challenge for the society

The usage of Information and communication technology has brought great advantages to the world but at the same it has come up with some harmful risky behaviors associated with it like cyberbullying. Cyberbullying among adolescents is one of the major issues prevalent across the world. It has become a widespread problem which affects an individual greatly. This article is an attempt to understand the nature and dynamics of cyberbullying along with the current scenario regarding its prevalence and research. Focus has been laid down on recognizing its consequences on both the perpetrator and the victim. The article is concluded with some suggestive plans for policy making and intervention programs.
