Current trends of open access repositories in ecology & environment

In the present study attempt has been made to identify the current status of Open Access Repositories in the field of Ecology & Environment worldwide with focus on some key aspects like number of Repositories, types of Repositories, language used, contents, subjects and software used in Repositories. To fulfil the specified objectives, the Open Access Institutional Repositories in Ecology and Environment were identified from OpenDOAR and the study reveals that Open DOAR listed 160 Repositories in the field of Ecology and Environment.
