The aim of this paper is to analyze a ratio on “loses of lives on Roads”and “Root cause for road accident”; Road accident is ‘a global tragedy'with ever-rising trend. The goal of this paper includes review the statistics of losses, causes and nature of accidents. Around 1.17 million Human deaths occur every year in globe due to road accident, more than 70% happening in developed countries. Major Causes for an accident is Lack of concentration, careless driving, and other personal bad habits such as like… DRUNK AND DRIVE, SPEEDING, PUBLIC MISBEHAVIOR, INCONSIDERATE OF DRIVERS and lack of proper safeguard/warning signals on roads are major concerns for an accident, In India; density of motor vehicles is growing faster than the growth economic and population. The Sudden increases of motors are directly tied with necessitate for expansion of road networks. That has brought to a challenge for address difficult factors in increase of road accidents. As per WHO (World Health Organization), In India road accident bereavement ratio are in sixth position; accident has a huge share in hospitalization with injuries and disabilities which leads to socio-economic losses to the young and middle-aged peoples. A Road accident injury is a huge burden to a health sector, in terms of pre-hospital, discriminating care and rehabilitation. In 2013 Tamil Nadu a southern state in India, this holds highest life losses in India. The state recorded 14, 504 accidents which include 15, 563 fatalities; this is a highest in number compare to other states in India.
