The article presents the results of experiments on the organization of horticulture without irrigation in the adyr (hilly foothill) zone of the north-eastern part of the Namangan region, which is considered an arid territory. The technology of experience is based on preserving the accumulated moisture in the soil by mulching it. The results of experimental work and phenological observations for the period 2013–2017 are presented.
