The journal "Annals of Plant protection Sciences" is a half-yearly publication i.e. March and September, every year that includes high quality research articles of international standard. We are also publishing coloured photographs which add the standard of the journal. All the papers of entomology, plant pathology, Nematology weeds, and pesticides used in IPM are scrutinized by the Editors and Editor-in-Chief and then sent to the experts in India for their comments.
Journal History - The Society of Plant Protection Sciences was formed by eleven plant protection scientists from Entomology, Plant Pathology, Nematology, Weed Sciences and Agro Chemicals. The Journal Annals of Plant Protection Sciences started its first issue in March 1993 (2 issues, March & Sept.) since then the Society has been publishing 2 issues. In 2019, the issue were increased to 3 per year. Then after in 2022, the issue was decreased to 2 per year. The Journal was subscribed by USA, UK, Japan, Libya, Ethiopia, Egypt, Bangladesh, Sudan etc. and papers were published. In India almost all the agricultural university / institution are subscribing the journal. All Plant Protection subjects are included. Aims and Objectives
The Society of Plant Protection Sciences was established in Oct. 12, 1992 and its publication started in 1993. The society is a non-profit voluntary body duly registered under the Registrar of the Societies Act 1860. We are also publishing coloured photographs which add the standard of the journal. All the papers of entomology, plant pathology, hematology weeds, and pesticides used in IPM are scrutinized by the Editors and Editor-in-Chief, and then sent to the experts in India for their comments. The Editor-in-Chief is trying to publish quality papers as soon as the papers are through from the reference and is kept for next issue. The Annals of Plant protection Sciences (APPS) strictly adheres to a publication ethics and malpractice statement as given below. It is largely based on the standard guidelines for journal editors developed by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE). Society of Plant protection Sciences (SPPS), as a long standing published is committed to meeting high standards of ethical behaviour at all stages of the publication process. The guidelines given herein define the responsibilities of authors, peer reviewers and editors, and are impending by default. Manuscripts submitted to APPS are evaluated entirely on the basis of their scientific content. All possible measures are taken to uphold the highest standards of publication ethics and to prevent malpractices. Authors who submit papers to APPS attest that their work is original and unpublished and is not under consideration for publication elsewhere. In addition, authors confirm that their paper is their own original work that has not been copied or plagiarized, in whole or in part, from other works and if the authors have used the works of others the same has been appropriately cited or quoted.
