Abstract

Since ancient time human being has been doing things to satisfy their curiosity or understanding by means of drawing and photographs. In the recent times photographic evidence has become a part of all sensitive cases in criminal jurisprudence. The scene photography should be done by a professional man but in absence of a qualified photographer one must not miss the photographic evidence and an amateurish attempt can be made by oneself to simplify the case. In numerous offences the proof or situation can only be presented in court through the medium of photographs. The well known Chinese saying “one picture is worth of a thousand words”, is still true. Here I am presenting the aim and places where an ordinary photographer, in forensic practice, which infact does not require any skilled and sophisticated training, can be used to help the administration of justice.
