The ruthless exploitation of resources had led to raise in inequalities between regions, between men and women, increased feminisation of poverty and ecological degradation. The impact of globalisation of markets and structural adjustment and its impact on women and development. The women's organisations wanted a shift from growth centered policies to people centered developments in which the principles of equality, social justice and ecological balance are accorded as much importance as economic growth. The Present paper analyses the impact of Globalisation on Women Empowerment.
