Abstract

The stock brokers, as a mediator, have to face multiple problems while they discharge their functions. They take very high risks in connection with their own investment, development in the corporate sector, etc. In this context the present study was designed to analyse the trading problems of stock dealers in Indian stock exchanges. For this study a sample of 160 respondents were selected on the basis of convenient sampling method. The collected data is analyzed using the statistical tools namely, Descriptive Analysis, Chi square Analysis and Factor Analysis. The results concluded that though SEBI, as regulator, controlling and monitoring the activities of the stock market, Brokers themselves has to develop, with the clients, a relationship which is based on the trust and guidance to create a confidence in them to trade in stock market.
