Abstract

In this paper we have analyzed the factors which affect the unequal distribution of waste services in Delhi. For this purpose z-score and step-wise regression have been used. After applying these test we found that 3,3 and 6 zones has found HSZ (Higher Service Zone), MSZ (Medium Service Zone), and LSZ (Lower Service Zone) respectively in Delhi. Further, step-wise regression shows that the no. of dustbins/dhalaos in per 10 sq. kilometres, and no. of vehicles in per 10 sq. kilometres, are the major component of the disparities of MSWS in Delhi. On the basis of forgoing analysis we suggest the Govt. of Delhi should increase the no. of dustbins/Dhalaos and no. of vehicles to reduce the inequality of waste management services in Delhi.
