Abstract

The present study was conducted in Iran and aimed to analyze the relationship between job stress and job performance. 112 employees of 8 manufacturing companies were selected as statistical population of this study. After distribution of questionnaires among employees, 110 usable questionnaires were returned. The research method used for this study is descriptive-correlation. Further, the analysis was carried out utilizing Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) methodology by LISREL 8.8 software. The factors analysis and the findings show that job stress has a significant negative influence on job performance of Iranian employees. The results of the current study suggest that managers of organization should provide suitable atmosphere in organizations to decrease factors causing job stress to increase Employees’ job performance.
