Today, we are living in a world suffused with media. It has become an integral and indispensable part of our lives. We share our experiences, connect and communicate with the world through media. Our daily lives are affected by mass media but unfortunately, the consequences of electronic mass media have an injurious upshot on children's well being. Whether revelation and exposure of children to violent media is a cause of aggression and violent behaviour has been one of the most debated issues. The impact of the media on the psychological development of children is intense as they are exposed to a devastating amount of advertising with very diminutive regulation controlling the programme to advertisement quotient. The main objective of this paper is to examine the behavioural impact of exposure to media violence on children. The findings of the study will definitely help parents in keeping a close check on their kid's exposure to violent media and plummeting its harmful effect. The method used in this study is descriptive. The study concludes that there is a profound impact of television violence on children owing to which parental mediation is essential by way of putting a check on the media they employ and the manner the employ the media.
