Abstract

To achieve sustainable agriculture we need to consider not just which tools to use but how to use them. By developing new, more precise methods of farming, w can use technology to help farmers become more successful at what they have always done: use their knowledge to manage problems like insects, weather conditions and soil variability. Agricultural technology is the application of the principles of mathematics and natural sciences in order to be economically efficient use of agricultural resources and natural resources for human welfare.Agricultural technology philosophy is a practice that is pragmatic-empirical finalistic, mechanistic-based understanding vitality with emphasis on formal objects in the manufacture and application engineering equipment, building, environmental, production and processing systems and security products. Agriculture sector is currently facing a number of challenges and needs to adopt innovative technologies to achieve sustainability, "Indian agriculture is currently at cross-roads. Every year there is a decrease of farmland, while demand rises, so it needs the technology. We need a paradigm shift from the existing high-input practices to resource conserving technologies," greater emphasis should be placed on improving inputs, integrating farming systems through diversification, addressing gender issues, adaptation to and mitigation of climate change in the sector. "To address poverty and to improve livelihood, we must ensure increased farm income through resource conserving innovations and linking farmers to markets "There is a pressing need to disengage from the input-intensive agriculture and shift to sustainable farming. Nevertheless, sustainable agriculture themes have become central issues to be addressed by policy makers and leaders, Proper financing of agriculture must enable and facilitate a wide range of innovative solutions that will strengthen the primary producer that is critical for fighting poverty in India. In this context, This paper evaluates the strategic issues. Availability of information about new technology, available facility to boot technology in agriculture, equipement market and accessibility and problems in access to facility available the paper also outcome with the recommendations and solution. Lastly the study point out that technology in agricultural sector would undoubtedly enable India to strengthen and to integrate its economy with that of the global economy.
