‘CHANGE’– the word, which people hesitate to adapt in real life. Change is the transition of people or an individual from the current state to a new state. When suddenly a change is introduced to the people/employee the first reaction of that person will be the resistance to accept that change. It is a common phenomenon or a nature of human to have a fear towards it. They will have so many questions in their mind like what if the change is not positive? fear of loss of job, quality of work, loss of production, etc. It takes time for them to analyze and understand the concept behind it. But why change is necessary at the workplace? With the growing and fast changing world people need to equip themselves with the latest models and techniques available in the market. Fastest of the lot survives in the market. So it becomes necessary for the management to act quickly as per the need and demands of the day. They cannot run their work with the outdated system or routine system. It's time for them to take strategic decisions of shifting people/individuals or groups in such a way which helps them to resolve the issue at the lowest cost with proper usage of resources. The only possible way for doing it is, by making the people to have awareness towards the new change at the workplace by explaining the needs and the positivity of it. This article is about how change management can be done, the case studies related to it and talks about the common issues people undergo while going for change at the workplace. Let's all welcome the word ‘CHANGE’ in management by analyzing and interpreting to the today's scenario.
