Identifying and ranking effective factors on deploying Business Intelligence in the Gas Refinery industries of Iran based on integrated DEMATEL -Analytic Network Process approach: case study of Parsian Gas Refinery Co

In this article, we offered the results of studying significant factors on deploying Business Intelligence system in the gas refinery industries of Iran. According to literature review, 23 factors were recognized as effective factors on Business Intelligence. Then by the means of DEMATEL technique, effective factors were prioritized in a structure based on the Graph Theory and then interrelationships between these factors were recognized. Finally, by the means of Analytic Network Process, we offered final results of ranking effective factors on deploying Business Intelligence. As a result, hardware infrastructure, software platform, need to transparency of information, the organizational standards of the integrity of processes, senior management support, the organizational processes of data generation and stakeholders’ familiarity with the IT, are prioritized respectively. Furthermore relevant sub indicators were prioritized in each main dimension.
