Abstract

Person-job fit and person-organization fit are among concepts that have particular importance in human resource management and extensive research has been conducted in their relation to the productivity of organizations. These concepts are commonly discussed in the long-standing organizations while in small and entrepreneurial businesses they are replaced with person-entrepreneurship fit, a concept which is not much dealt with in ventures. Knowledge based firms are business ventures which play an important role in the economic development of countries. In this research, ranking of constructive factors of person-entrepreneurship fit among entrepreneurs of knowledge based firms in Tehran has been investigated. The results showed that social capital, social skill and self-efficacy factors have a major role in explaining this construct, and opportunity recognition and perseverance factors play little role in this ranking.
