The purpose of this paper is to investigate spiritual intelligence as one of necessary competencies for managing an organization. Spiritual Intelligence is the intelligence that persons can place their activities and their lives in a richer, vaster, meaning-giving context. Decision making, scheduling, problem solving, leadership and etc. are some important roles of managers. Different researches shows that there are some relationships between these roles and spiritual intelligence. So we can say spiritual intelligence is one of necessary competencies of managers, especially in nowadays business world.
