The main purpose of this study is to investigate the relationship between e-learning and knowledge management (KM) practices in Shazand Petrochemical Company in Iran. Based on the review of literature on KM and E-learning, four main practices of KM (creation, acquisition, storage, sharing) and E-learning (application of technology, equipment & infrastructure, attitude, technological skills) were considered and the hypotheses were developed. Structural Equation Modelling (SEM) technique was employed to test the hypotheses. The obtained results show that e-learning has a significant effect on all KM practices namely creation, acquisition, storage and sharing of knowledge. In other words, there is a positive and significant relationship between E-learning factors and KM practices.
