Identifying and ranking the effective factors on organizational entrepreneurship in the gas refinery industries of Iran with DEMATEL-ANP: case study of Parsian Gas Refinery Co

Abstract

In this article, the results of studying the effective key factors on organizational entrepreneurship in the gas refinery industries of Iran were offered. According to the literature review, 19 elements were recognized as effective factors on organizational entrepreneurship. Then, effective factors were prioritized in a structure based on the Graph theory by the means of DEMATEL technique and interrelationships between these factors were identified. Finally, the effective factors on organizational entrepreneurship in the gas refinery industries of Iran were ranked by the means of Analytical Network Process. Accordingly, underlying factors (environmental and external factors), structural factors (physical body of the organization) and content factors (organizational behaviour) were the priorities respectively. Moreover in each main dimension, related sub indicators also were prioritized; in this regard environmental uncertainty, political factors, centralization/decentralization of decision making, organizational culture and market were of the most importance.
