The present research aims at investigating the relation between transformational leadership and empowerment of staff at Keshavarzi Bank. The method of the current research is descriptive for practical purposes conducted for 1200 central offices staff of Keshavarzi Bank. The sample size is 263. The data collection method is based on two questionnaires. Multi Factorial Leadership Questionnaire (MFQ) and the Spreitzer questionnaire which is for empowering purposes. Data collected from a simple random sampling also known as statistical samples, were selected and studied. The reliability value by using Kronbach's alpha coefficient for leadership questionnaire was 0.764, and for that of empowerment scale amounted to 0.912. The Kolmogorov-Smirnov test as well as Pearson's correlation analyses were also used. The tests results indicated that the relation between transformational leadership, and empowerment of staff at Keshavarzi Bank was relatively strong, positive and significant. The results showed that the components of that relation included a sense of trust in others as well as a sense of competence, efficiency, choice and meaningfulness.
