Abstract

Iranian automotive component industry has faced several crises with the sanctions by the West as the last and the most recent one. There is also a dynamic, variable and diverse situation, uncertain future of the automobile industry in the country, economic crises, low productivity and technology, intensity of global competition and export opportunities in this area, cross sectional and sudden planning, passive approach to the future lacking a complex systems of planning, performing and monitoring to realize the 1404 vision. These have led to several problems in this industry. The appropriate encounter with such crises requires a super active approach. The ECP is a system of strategic planning for the scenario-making to deal properly with this kind of crisis. The ECP is suggested for eliminating the obstacles and difficulties of the industry on account of the flexible decision making, scenarios, and a super active approach to the future.
