Abstract

This paper seeks to identify barriers of organizational entrepreneurship in universities and higher education. Furthermore, this research tried to consider issues beyond Faray and Seper and other experts about barriers of organizational entrepreneurship. Barriers were examined in this study include organizational culture, how to control the organization, short and long-term profit's strategies and rewarding system. Based on survey, 122 staff of Payam Noor Khorasan Razavi had severe control, conservative organizational culture and reward system short-term benefit's strategy respectively; 162.3, 784.2, 112.3 and 196.2 which were obtained by t-test, Spearman correlation test (p) Beta test (B). Results of the study indicated that the consetive organizational culture, short-term profit's strategy, and inappropriate rewarding systems were major obstacles of organizational Entrepreneurship.
