Abstract

This paper explores about Employee Retention in the Hotel Industry in today's scenario. Employees in the present days quickly move from one employer to another, especially in the Hotel Industry. This paper talks initially about the Causes/Reasons of Employee Turnover including Improper Communication, Lack of high pay being the two major and common. Then it is about the Need of the Employee Retention that every hotel must identify to retain the employees for better productivity and service. Finally it is the employer to adopt the strategies that help them to retain the employees for high productivity and also in a way that is cost- effective to the employer.
