With an escalation in economic activities green gases are known the most detrimental factors threatening the communities and natural ecosystems in the world as well as in Iran. Identification of effective variables in terms of greenhouse gases emission may shape programs aimed at control of pollutions. The research has aimed at identification of effective factors on carbon dioxide emission as an environmental destruction index for Iran and the years from 1979 to 2013. The Kuznets curve was used to determine the relationship between pollution and economic growth in different countries. With the use of Johansen co-integration approach the research was focused on the analysis of the factors effective on carbon dioxide gas emission. The results show that the variables like investment in information technology, energy price, the ratio of surplus value and gross domestic product and energy intensity have significant effects on carbon dioxide emission. Due to the accumulation of capitals in communicative technology the hypothesis affirmative of the applicability of the inverse U-shaped Kuznets curve to the economy of Iran cannot be rejected.
