After Independence a profound change in Indian agriculture, it has witnessed with increase in production of various agriculture crops such as cereals, pulses, oil seeds, fruits and vegetables. Agriculture marketing and processing have become more complex problem to the farmer. Farmer has to dispose of marketable surplus on the one hand and ensure a remunerative price for his produce on the other. Mere increased production has no meaning unless the farmer gets remunerative price and prompt and immediate payment is ensured, as the motivation to produce more and more comes from the prices and ready cash that he is able to get for his produce. To improve the situation of farmers in Andhra Pradesh, the government of Andhra Pradesh has introduced the system of ‘Rythu Bazaar’.
